Again with the Save Darfur...

Sat Nov 22, 2008, 1:11 AM
Most people are unaware of the fact that over 2.5 million people in Darfur, Sudan, have been forced from there homes, and are made to live in "refugee camps" under conditions that many of us could never imagine. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of people, who have already been murdered. Murder and rape are daily happenings in Darfur, and without outside help, it will continue to happen. The Darfuris people are in need of our help, Barack Obama said "The United States has a moral obligation...", He also promised "unstinting resolve" to end the genocide.
If any of what you just read meant anything to you, and you want to help change what's happening in Darfur, you can simply visit addyourvoice.org, to send an internet post card to President-elect Obama, urging him to keep that promise and save Darfur, it only takes a minute, I promise.
If your interested in learning more about Darfur, then visit savedarfur.org. You can also check out The Devil Came On Horseback witch is an award winning documentary about the situation in Darfur, you can watch it for free through the link, it's about an hour and a half long.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I would love to hear what you think, have a nice day.

Something growing in my mind when I read your subject. I do really want to send a message to urge Barack Obama to help Darfur, but I failed to open [link] you seen my work of Obama in my gallery?I do have a hope that he could make our world better.Btw thanks for the fave.

I'm glad to hear that you want to help by sending a post card, but unfortunately I think you need to be in the U.S. to send one, but that doesn't mean you can't help. It's a global effort, there's a lot of ways you can help, from making a donation, to just spreading the word. If you tell one person then you've done your part. I'm pretty sure, being outside of the U.S., you can still make a donation through savedarfur.org, I'm not trying to urge you to make a donation, I know that many people aren't able to, I'm just letting you know. Hope that helped, also I did see your Obama, very nice.
Have a nice day.
